I saw Haress support Godspeed in Coventry over the weekend and haven't been able to stop myself thinking about their set. It doesn't surprise me that they turn out to be from Bishop's Castle because this is what the welsh border sounds like. Uncanny, unsettling, beautiful. Wonderful discovery, SteveC

this is a living beast of a record, you can hear it heaving in feedback breaths in settlement and panting them out in old smoke, a feverish continuum of a record, each song an iteration of the last, I listen and I can't remember which song did what, cos they were all hauling for some golden horizon. eldudowski

Came to this having heard no Charlottefield but as a WSR true believer and Sweet Williams digger, and this record blows my tiny mind. Lightning in a bottle. Properly exciting music. Praise be. eldudowski
The title doesn’t lie; the latest from Christian Fitness puts slap bass at the center of their gnarled, punky songs. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 20, 2017
